Job Responsibility:

- Familiar with cable standards, understand the requirements from customer, and prepare the design cards for new cables as per the process status to ensure that material and product specifications and performance comply with the requirements and have price competitiveness. Input and maintenance the SAP system.
- Preparation of various new cable specifications and related technical data sheets.
- Preparation of printing wheel specification cards, new raw material procurement specifications, new cable packaging specifications, other technical documents and drawings.
- Participate in the design and development and technical statistics for new products including the preparation of new product design control case for major projects.
- Prepare the technical documents for new materials, semi-finished products, printing wheels and other processes, and make the corresponding numbering rules.
- Familiar with process, assist sampling team and manufacturing team to solve various technical and quality problems in samples making and pilot run.
- Familiar with product performance requirements and **** methods, work with process engineers to assist QA team to solve various **** problems of new products and optimize the process.
- Check the actual material consumption, working hours, depreciation of equipment, material wastage and scrap of products with manufacture team, process team and accounting team, and contact the accounting team to update relevant information.
- Cooperate with purchasing team to evaluate and approve all kinds of new materials, and cooperate with sales to optimize the cost of new cables.
- Project management for the tasks assigned, follow up the pilot run of new products and follow up the schedule to ensure that new samples can be sent to customers for approval in time.
- Conduct training on new cable technology and professional knowledge for associates inside the plant or related sales.
- Complete all other duties assigned by R&D manager in time.

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree or Diploma in cable design and manufacture or electrical insulation and high voltage or mechanical design or electrical engineering or communication engineering.
- At least 5 years working experience in cable manufacturing industry, 3 years or more experience in cable product design or development.
- Familiar with cable standards, understand the development trend of cable industry technology, have the spirit of technological innovation and the ability to dabble in high-tech.
- Strong adaptability, learning ability, calculating ability and practical ability.
- Ability to independently organize relevant associates for cable product development and new technology development.
- Expert in Microsoft PC tools like AUTOCAD, PPT, word, excel, access, etc.
- Multitasking and team work spirit.
- Have good competencies in managing through systems, problem solving, drive for results, customer focus, creativity and innovation management.
