Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Sciences: Mechanical, Electronics, Mathematics, etc.
- More than 10 years working experience including at least 5 in quality management such as quality assurance supervisor, quality manager etc.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with Quality tools with green, ideally black belt qualification
- Hands-on experiences with ISO 9001/14001 and related quality systems
- 6 Sigma, IRIS, TS 16949 is preferred
- Experience on Process quality control organization
- Tactful and interactive in resolving customer and internal complaints
- Proven track record in management, ideally of a Quality organization
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in English, including oral, reading and writing
Main Tasks:
Set the quality targets, KPIs and follow-up
- Develop yearly manufacturing quality objectives per Manufacturing Unit or activity and follow up
- Participate in the development of Quality control plans and ensure application with Inspector team
- Lead Quality engineer to establish efficient inspection methods ( FQA /PQC/ IQC / OQC )
- Report the KPI and unit activities to Manufacturing Manager as required and defined and support GMS Quality manager in the follow up and reporting of Quality cost
Manage the Quality team upstream (SQE, IQC), and in-process (PQC, FQA, OQC)
- Work closely with Sourcing Quality engineer on components quality by reporting clearly issues and performance Manage manufacturing quality team following all HR policies and processes
- Organize relevant meetings and follow up on actions
- Organize the Inspection team to assess quality in FQA/PQC (manufacturing), IQC (supplier quality) as well as OQC (logistic) with delivery performance commitment
Support the Quality downstream (CATS) and close the quality feedback loop
- Monitor Manufacturing and trading CATS performance in term of quality of 8D report and lead-time etc.
- Escalate Quality issues as required and lead root cause analysis for key quality issues and prepare report with GMS Quality Manager for Customer
Audits and certificates
- Be responsible for compiling or optimizing the standard of IRIS, TS16949 within quality scope
- Properly implement GMS and meet the company ISO and IRIS, TS 16949 system request
- Ensure all related processes are implemented, and regularly reviewed and improved
Manage continuous improvement regarding Quality performance
- Carefully Implement FAI process including part and process approval
- Participate and support Champion program activities according to define role as champion
- Support TQRDC process for related manufacturing aspects
- Lead the cross function team to improve quality performance
- Promote Quality First approach through application of professional and methodical approach of Quality
- Respond to enquiries from internal customers, suppliers, peers, managers and employees
- Promote employee participation and development with involvement of all employees
